  1. Beat eggs & sugar together until light & fluffy
  2. Add Butter & continue mixing
  3. Slowly incorporate the flour
  4. Then add the baking powder, salt, vanilla then mix
  5. Place the batter into the buttered & sugar pan
  6. Peel, core, slice the apples. you can either place them randomly on the cake batter or arrange them into a design.
  7. sprinkle sugar then cinnamon on top of cake & top with small pats of softened butter.
  8. Place cake in a pre-heated 350degree oven for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove cake from oven. Let it cool then top it with confectionary sugar.
